Use Your Bus Pass 2

Status:Active, open to new members
Leader:
When: Monthly
3rd Wednesday & 3rd Friday of the month
Venue: Havant Bus Station

Areas visited: Hampshire, Sussex and the Isle of Wight

Think of a day trip, enjoying the scenery, a nice lunch and tourist attractions. Now imagine it without the coach fare and with the flexibility to reschedule if the weather is appalling! Make sure you have your bus pass, comfortable walking shoes, and any medication you need. It will help communications if you have a fully charged mobile phone with you. (shopping bag and camera optional)

Our two monthly trips usually take place on the third Wednesday and third Friday of each month. We usually meet at Havant Bus Station but some people find it easier to join us further along the route. Our next trips to Midhurst will be on Wednesday 17th June and Friday 19th June.

We visited Southsea in May, and had an early lunch to make the most of our time there. Attractions included the D Day Museum, the Rose Garden and the new sea front.

it was a cold wet day in Petersfield but we had a warm welcome in the Square Brewery near the bus stop

In January we lunched at a cosy pub with a convenient bus stop and saw some early spring flowers

We went to Gunwharf in November, the weather wasn't good but the shopping mall was mostly under cover and our lunch venue was festive and welcoming

Stokes Bay in September. It felt like the Riviera on Friday with beautiful weather

We went on a Compass Bus 99 to Petworth in August, with its unique buildings, scenery and shops.
