Do you enjoy needlecraft and want to share an afternoon with like-minded people? The group will cover all types of needlecraft e.g sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery and cross-stitch. Bring a project you are working on to show others, or use the time to start something new. Learn different needlecraft techniques from each other and maybe in the future there could be a joint project. The list of possibilities is endless and will evolve as the group develops.
We now have two groups. Group 1 meets at 2:00pm on the first Monday of the month at my home, Group 2 meets at 2:00pm on the first Tuesday of the month also at my home. Each group will be limited to six members due to the space constraints
Our craft group is coming along beautifully! We've now grown to six regular members, each bringing their own unique flair and enthusiasm to our sessions. Whether your a seasoned maker or just starting out. There's a place for everyone at our table. Each meeting, we take time to chat about what we'd like to create next and reflect on what we've already accomplished, our ideas are as varied as our talents. Helping one another is at the heart of our group. Whether it's sharing techniques, lending materials, or offering encouragement, we're building a supportive space.
Our craft group is thriving, and we’re excited to share that we now meet twice a month. With several new members joining us, our sessions have become even more vibrant, creative, and full of inspiration.
Since Christmas, we’ve been busy working on a wide range of handmade garments and household items. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, or sewing, our members have been producing beautiful pieces that showcase both skill and imagination. We’re a friendly, active group that welcomes all levels — from complete beginners to seasoned makers. If you enjoy crafting, learning new techniques, or simply spending time with like‑minded people, we’d love to have you join us. Examples of some of our creations are below.
