We are currently a group of ten members that share interests in a wide range of topics and periods of British history. Our backgrounds are varied, none of us are 'experts.' We normally decide on a specific topic (eg. Industry or a particular war) or a defined period (eg. the reign of Charles II) at least one month in advance and then research or collate material from sources such as books, TV programmes, the internet, etc. Our meetings are informal and 'free flow,' organised to give everyone who wishes to make a contribution to the discussion.
