Your chance to play Bridge in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are an experienced player or beginner there is ample opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy the company of other players.
New members are welcome so please contact Margaret if you are interested.
Bridge Group members can meet for free Online Bridge each Friday evening at 6.30pm with the Persons Friday group. This is a small friendly online Bridge Club with Havant U3A members and local club players. Practice games can be arranged when needed.
Face to Face seminars at 10:00am -12:00 noon on Mondays are held at Margaret's home, they include a short talk and a video, followed by some practice hands. Reminders are sent.
Our Improvers have learnt the basics and are improving their game, learning Modern Acol and online Bridge. They usually meet on the fourth Mondays of the month and they often join the Persons Friday sessions.
Our Club Players are Improvers course graduates and established players who enjoy looking at Advanced Topics and Interesting hands. They usually meet on the second Monday of the month and they often join the Persons Friday sessions. Janice Henderson has a Bridge group that meets from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Thursdays at the Church of the Resurrection, Penrhyn Ave, Drayton PO6 2AP. They play Chicago Bridge and the sessions are for U3A Bridge players. There is a fee of £2.00 for room hire. Please contact Janice for more details.
